‘Perspectives on the "Belgian sector", Life course of people with autism and organization of care in France and Belgium’

Our study aims to contribute to the study of mutations of the medico-social field from the example

autism, in France and Belgium. Autism, or rather autism can be considered

as a laboratory of the changes at work in the relationships individuals in situation of

handicap / institutions / relatives. Autism spectrum disorders are both exemplary

deinstitutionalization, criticisms of "French-style" institutions, while

giving clues to a "need for an institution" for the most complex situations or

at least an "accompanied answer".
